Rebecca Walker

 

Rebecca grew up in Hendersonville, North Carolina.  She received her Bachelor of Science in History from Appalachian State University, where she graduated magna cum laude with university and departmental honors.  She attended law school at the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she graduated with high honors, ranking in the top ten percent of her graduating class.  While in law school, Rebecca served as Research Editor of the Tennessee Law Review and Executive Editor of the Tennessee Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice.  She worked as a research assistant for a College of Law professor and as a student attorney in the University of Tennessee Wills Clinic.  She also received CALI Excellence awards for legal writing and research. 

Following graduation, Rebecca practiced at a law office in Morristown, Tennessee, before joining the firm in 2019.  She concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate, corporate, and transactional law.  Rebecca is admitted to practice law in the state of Tennessee and is a member of the American, Tennessee, and Knoxville Bar Associations.

Rebecca is married to Dan Walker, a business analyst for JTV, and they live in North Knoxville with their dog, Hawk.
