Laura K. Doty

Attorney

Laura is an experienced transactional attorney who represents clients in all aspects of business and real estate law, including general business transactions, contract negotiations, and commercial real estate acquisitions and development. She particularly enjoys working with clients to find practical solutions to legal issues. She is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association.

Laura is originally from Nashville, Tennessee, but now calls East Tennessee home. Prior to joining YWT, Laura worked for several years at a prominent commercial real estate development and brokerage firm. She graduated second in her class from Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law. While at LMU, she served as a member of the Moot Court Board and earned several certificates of academic excellence for writing, research, and estates.

Outside of the office, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, their two daughters, and their spoiled border collie, hiking in the Smoky Mountains, and boating on East Tennessee’s beautiful rivers.
